Digital Strategies

As part of our goals for the digital transformation of the energy industry’s subsurface business, our managing director, Judith Narváez, joined the Digital Transformation Strategies programme in the Imperial College Business School.

The 9-week programme prepares participants with the knowledge and skills to design and develop a successful digital transformation strategy.1 We wish all the best to our Managing Director on this next step in Strados’ business plan and consultancy services.

What does digital transformation mean at Strados?

We believe that for a step-change in the upstream sector of the energy industry, any digital transformation initiative must involve cultural, organisational, and operational changes. Therefore, our transformation consultancy services help E&P companies develop strategies to reimagine conventional function-based subsurface managing teams and transform them into fully process-based organisations capable of changing, adapting, and thriving in challenging conditions.

Furthermore, lean management principles are at the heart of our transformational strategies. They focus interdisciplinary subsurface teams on driving continuous improvement by examining existing knowledge and business-work processes and leveraging long-term cultivated competencies to simplify and accelerate the path to providing value for decision-makers.

Together with our transformation consultancy services, our digitalisation consultancy services help E&P companies formulate effective digital transformation strategies for implementing emerging cognitive technologies to create novel products, solutions, and services. These strategies aim to advance inter-discipline collaboration, drive workforce efficiencies, and enhance the performance of subsurface organisations by leveraging AI and ML automation, managing data sharing through open ecosystems, and applying data analytics.

In addition, we work with oil and gas asset management organisations at all stages in their cloud journey, from legacy data and application migration through multi-cloud ecosystem adoption, to best-practices framework implementation for cloud financial management, operations, and security and compliance.

Our approach is to work with executives of E&P companies to consult or develop a workable, manageable, and deliverable scope. To deliver business models tailored to individual E&P assets that combine innovative strategies to change their subsurface resources management units’ culture, organisational structures, operational processes, and technological frameworks and transform them into agile, flexible, and efficient businesses.

Our key objectives are achieving our customer’s vision and E&P project profit’s expectations.
